Isabella "Izzy" Beeson LPC-S

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2007 and am passionate about helping people heal from trauma, rediscover their value, and create meaning in their lives. My journey began as a live-in caretaker for troubled teens, where I first felt the calling to walk alongside others in their struggles. I went on to graduate from grad school where i earned my Master of Arts in Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
Since then, I’ve worked with vulnerable youth in residential settings, served with Child Protective Services, and fostered children in my own home. These experiences shaped my heart for those who feel unseen or misunderstood.
I specialize in abuse recovery and trauma healing, using a person-centered approach that emphasizes safety, trust, and connection. I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a powerful tool for processing trauma, and I am completing advanced training through Robyn Gobel’s Baffling Behavior Institute. I also have specialized training in women's perinatal mental health. I am passionate about helping those that need to find their voice that allows them to make sense of their unique experiences.
As both a counselor and an adoptive mother, I deeply understand the challenges families face, and I’m committed to creating a space where clients feel accepted, valued, and equipped to heal. I utilize a variety of different techniques in the therapy office that allows my clients to feel comfortable including -art, nature, animals games and walks.
For the client that chooses i can incorporate faith into the sessions and for those that may have experienced hurt in faith based spaces or religious trauma i would be honored to walk alongside you.
