My approach to working with clients is compassionate and person-centered. I believe each person is an expert on themselves and therefore my role is to be a supportive guide throughout the healing process.

My training and experience have afforded me the opportunity to work with a variety of issues, including but not limited to, complex trauma, sexual abuse or sexual assault grief & loss, anxiety, depression, and those who may be experiencing heightened stress related to family, work, or social situations. I also have several years working with veterans and combat-related issues. You may be bringing years of hurt and challenging situations into counseling but I will be here to support you with that pain.  Throughout my years of experience, I have been able to build a rapport with clients from a variety of different cultural backgrounds and ethnicities leading to successful therapeutic relationships.

I am a certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy therapist. This is an evidence-based practice that promotes healing with the use of eye movements. I have also received a certificate in Trauma-focused CBT. I specialize in helping trauma survivors find their voice to take healing back into their hands.

I have also completed the required training to become certified in Perinatal Mental Health, (PMH-C) specialist.  I have personal experience in my journey to motherhood and have experienced parenthood in a variety of ways such as as a live-in caretaker for troubled teens, foster parent, IVF  as well an adoptive mother to a special needs son.

I am here to assist you in your healing journey. Taking the first step can be hard but my staff and I will help you with each step along the way.

For our clients working with our student interns or associates provides you with the opportunity to work with professionals in the beginning stages of their career.  Your therapist is receiving high quality education or working on their clinical hours.  They receive regular supervision with a trained supervisor on a weekly basis.  These sessions are affordable and are offered on a sliding scale as they cannot accept insurance.
